Walking to and from Elm Farm
There are some really great walks to and from Elm Farm from very easy to long and challenging.Getting to and from the coastal footpath
The map on the right shows the wriggling route, that leads from and to the coastal footpath, which avoids walking along the main coast road. The coast road is the quickest and most direct route to where the coastal path arrives in Porthtowan.

The Bolster
Bolster must have been of enormous size: since it is stated that he could stand with one foot on St Agnes’ Beacon and the other on Carn Brea (which can be clearly seen from Elm Farm Campsite; these hills being distant, as the bird flies, six miles, his immensity will be clear to all. In proof of this, there still exists, in the valley running upwards from Chapel Porth, a stone in which may yet be seen the impression of the giant’s fingers.
